Specifications:
The device is a miniature of a semi-centric air-to-air air conditioning installation with air ducts and air-conditioned space.
It includes:
-2kW (7000BTU/h) condensing unit with condenser, compressor, axial fan, four-way valve, condensate collection basin.
-Evaporatoring unit with evaporator, humidifier, centrifugal fan, basin for concentration of
concentrates(water) which are permanently placed inside a chamber which ensures the proper operation of the system and allows observation of its interior through a transparent casing.
-Supply air duct with register, with the option of adjusting the air flow and adjustable damper.
-Return air duct with grilles.
-Fresh and return air mixing box with the ability to adjust the quantity and temperature of the incoming fresh air (recirculation) .
-Air-conditioned space with transparent front cover and door for measurements inside the chamber which has thermal loads to simulate normal conditionst emperature.
-Electrical control panel and commands, with fuse switch, indicator lights, panic switch etc.
-Built-in instruments at the appropriate points of the device for control of operation and
Reception measurements (manometers, thermometers, thermostat, and humidifier)
-Portable measuring instruments (air velocity, humidity, air pressure)
-The educational device should use R410 or R32 as a refrigerant, and dimensions of 1.80 X.0.60 X 0.85m. aprox.,
-Mounted on a wheeled table, and the condenser unit on the side.
-The experimental device is accompanied by exercise books (student-teacher) in English/Greek for the  execution of the following issues:
Measurement of air velocity and volume in air ducts and grilles.
Measurement of psychometric air elements.
Air heating with air recirculation efficiency of the unit in heating.
